Where is it? 
You’ll find the Cockburn Central Town Centre off Beeliar Drive and right next door to the Cockburn Central Train Station. The current development site is bounded by Kwinana Freeway, Beeliar Drive, Midgegooroo Avenue and North Lake Road. Click here for Google Map location.

Who is delivering the project?
Cockburn Central Town Centre is being delivered by LandCorp and the City of Cockburn in partnership with Australand, Giorgi Group, Department of Housing, Public Transport Authority and West Australian Planning Commission (WAPC).

What stage is development at? When will it be complete?
Delivery of the project is well advanced with close to 500 residents already living on site as well as a number of commercial and retail businesses already in operation. To encourage more activity and use, we are currently redeveloping parts of the Town Square.

In all, Cockburn Central will be delivered in two stages over the next 5 to 10 years:

• Stage 1: All buildings within the first 11 lots will be complete by 2014.
• Stage 2: A further four lots from 3,299sqm to 1.05ha were released to market in August 2012, with construction also starting on a new Cockburn Central Police Station in the same year. It is hoped development of all buildings will be complete by 2016.

Future Development - LandCorp, on behalf of WAPC and the City of Cockburn is undertaking the structure planning for a 30ha site west of Midgegaroo Road, currently being referred to a Cockburn Central West.

Cockburn Central West will expand on the Activity Centre principles of Cockburn Central and integrate mixed use development with regional recreational facilities.

Does LandCorp manage the Cockburn Central Train Station?
No. The Cockburn Central Train Station and Bus Interchange is managed by the Public Transport Authority of WA (PTA) and can be contacted on 9326 2000.

How often do the buses and trains leave from Cockburn Central?
Trains run between Cockburn and Perth every 5 – 10 minutes during peak times, 15 minutes off peak and on weekends and every half hour during the evenings. Buses from Cockburn and Fremantle run every 10 – 15 minutes during the day (routes 520, 531, 532, 530). Regular feeder bus services to Cockburn Central Train Station also operate from Atwell, Success, Yangebub, Bibra Lake and South Lake.
